I hate how his wife is playing the poor black card, he’s using celebs to boost his campaign, he’s only going to help the working poor not the middle class, he’s got no experience and half the issues in the Senate he was opted to vote on he wasn’t even present. I just can’t vote for someone like that.
Well, I still like him better than Hillary. And you can’t tell me Hillary doesn’t use celebrities, either. Or wouldn’t if she had the chance. I heard on NPR about some video out using a rock band metaphor with her as the lead singer. They were also saying how a lot of the celebrity endorsements for Obama were completely unsolicited by his campaign. People just do it because they like him and what he stands for.
She supported the war. She’s Bush lite. I’ve read a couple of pretty condemning articles about her in the New Yorker and the New York Times magazine.
And I’m not buying the argument about Barack being too inexperienced. That’s what a President’s advisers are for. To provide experienced, expert advice when he needs it. I think it’s more important for a presidential candidate to possess leadership capabilities, charisma, and the wisdom and humility to call on various points of views (via a wide range of advisers) when he needs to make important decisions. Obviously, something our current commander-in-chief has never been able to do. Part of being a good leader is knowing when to take the advice of people who are smarter than you are.
I also think there’s too much baggage surrounding Hillary. Obama offers a fresh perspective. No more Bushes. No more Clintons. We need someone new.
