Last Updated August 2016.

I first met Seattle in 1991 after moving to the Pacific Northwest from my native Colorado. For the past two decades, I’ve had a love affair with this place, alternating between flings and going steady. Flings while living in eastern Washington and on the East Coast; in a committed relationship as a smitten Emerald City dweller for 11 collective years. Consequently, I am often asked to recommend my favorite places in Seattle. Here they are, starting with food establishments first.
